Disponibile un secondo aggiornamento cumulativo dedicato a Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (PC) | Build 16299.334
Microsoft da pochi minuti ha provveduto a rilasciare il secondo aggiornamento cumulativo per la versione stabile di Windows 10 Fall Creators Update su PC e Tablet.
La nuova versione disponibile al download per tutti gli utenti che utilizzano la versione stabile di Windows 10 viene identificata dal numero di build 16299.334, come ogni aggiornamento cumulativo non porta nessuna nuova funzione ma solo ottimizzazioni e correzione di bug. In particolare Microsoft segnala:
- Addresses issue with a GDI handle leak in the Windows Ribbon control
- Addresses issue where users can’t select OK after entering credentials in command line on Windows Server version 1709.
- Addresses issues where Bluetooth devices fail to receive data after a restart.
- Addresses issue where, during BitLocker decryption or encryption of a drive, files protected with the Encrypting File System (EFS) may become corrupted.
- Addresses issue where the server may occasionally encounter an error during file transfer. The error is “Stop D1 in tcpip!TcpSegmentTcbSend”.
- Addresses issue where an iSCSI RESET might trigger a cluster failover.
- Addresses issue in MPIO where pass-through SCSI requests might lead to a stop error if the disk is pending removal.
- Addresses issue where processing of group policies may fail, and policies may be removed as a result. This occurs if the length of the Windows Defender Firewall policy rule exceeds 260 characters.
- Addresses issue caused by a new privilege in Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 version 1709 named “Obtain an impersonation token for another user in the same session”. When applied using Group Policy to those computers, gpresult /h fails to generate reporting data for any setting configured by the Security Configuration Engine (SCE) extension. The error message is “Requested value ‘SeDelegateSessionUserImpersonatePrivilege’ was not found”. The Group Policy Management Console fails to show the privilege in the Settings tab for a GPO where the setting has been configured.
- Addresses issue where errors may occur when accessing WebDAV files or folders on a SharePoint site if the file or folder name contains multibyte characters.
- Addresses issue where the Remote Desktop License report gets corrupted when it exceeds the 4 KB size limit.
- Addresses issue where an Azure point-to-site VPN connection that uses IKEv2 may fail when the user’s device contains a large number of trusted root certificates.
- Addresses rendering issue in Microsoft Edge for PDF documents with backgrounds created using various third-party publishing tools.
- Addresses issue where a media platform stops responding when changing cameras rapidly on a device.
- Addresses issue where a media platform stops responding, which affects media playback in Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft PowerPoint.Addresses issue with spatial audio when used in connection to Dolby Atmos for Headphones.
- Addresses issue where a credential prompt that requires administrative privileges appears when a standard user account performs the first logon to a Windows 10 device that has been deployed using Windows Autopilot.
- Addresses issue where tiles in the Start menu aren’t preserved when upgrading from Windows 10 version 1607 to Windows 10 version 1709.
- Addresses issue with Spell Check and custom dictionaries.
- Addresses issue with the press and hold feature when using a pen in Tablet mode.
- Addresses issue with editing web password fields using a touch keyboard.
- Addresses issue where some Bluetooth card readers don’t work after a restart.
Mi fiondo su Windows Update (a fra poco)
potevi fare anche con calma, tanto nessuna aveva fretta di risentirti
L’ultimo aggiornamento di marzo non ne voleva sapere di installarsi su molti pc, incluso il mio Surface 3.
Vediamo se questo va a buon fine…
Il mio surface3 regolarmente aggiornato, ogni tanto capita anche a me che qualche aggiornamento non si installi subito sia su pc che su surface, ma alla fine si installano… su pc addirittura qualche anno fa ho dovuto resettare windows update per far tornare tutto alla normalità.
Aspetterò il prossimo aggiornamento si primavera e reinstallerò il sistema da zero, forse è la cosa migliore per dare una ripulita..
Ho provato anche a pulire la.cache di windows update e installare anche dal Microsoft catalog, ma non ne vuol sapere
Che antivirus usi?
Per dire, mio zio ha disinstallato Kaspersky e si è aggiornato il pc
Nel Surface 3 per quel poco che lo uso non ho antivirus attivi, e Defender è disattivato tramita modifica al registro.
Penso qualcosa sia andato storto a livello di sistema, o patch precedenti.
mio Surface3 si era aggiornato regolarmente,
anche questo fatto ieri sera nessun problema riscontrato, anzi mi sembra migliorato più reattivo, aggiornato anche chuwiHi12 tutto ok!
fai ogni volta ogni aggiornamento,
pulizia disco > pulizia file di sistema,
io lo faccio ogni volta, ad ogni cumulative update, in questo modo mi restano sempre veloci e reattivi, lo faccio su tutti i pc che mi capitano nelle mani, anche in azienda, altrimenti dopo un po’ rallentano e diventano lenti!!
Sul mio Surface 3 64gb i file di windows update occupano ben 12 gb ne rimangono circa 28 liberi e sarei molto tentato di fare una pulizia, non è però che dopo darà problemi con i prossimi aggiornamenti? Nelle varie discussioni che seguo ci sono opinioni discordanti

la devi far fare a Win10 non a programmi esterni!
se la fa lui “lui” lo sa’ cosa deve fare ;)
C mouse destro > proprietà > pulizia disco > pulizia file di sistema, metti spunta a tutto, se no lo hai mai fatto, di default, non sono tutte flaggate, e procedi, ti dirà che se elimini tutto non potrai più”tornare indietro” ma chi lo fa’? se va’ tutto bene..?
magari prima di procedere crea un punto di ripristino, io non ho mai dovuto “tornare indietro”
una volta fatto tutto elimina tutti i punti ripristino precedenti e si libera ancora tanto spazio, poi ne crei 1 nuovo con tutto pulito!!
io lo faccio da sempre su vari pc di amici e conoscenti, lo faccio pure sui pc in azienda e non ho mai avuto problemi, come scritto lo faccio fare “a lui” non con programmi esterni, che non mi fiderei, ancor più se i pc non sono miei;)
Aspetto qualche giorno per vedere se con questo aggiornamento va tutto bene e poi provo. Grazie per l’aiuto

Si tutto è pulito, anche ripulita l’immagine di Windows con dism /cleanup /resetbase.
Non so cosa ci sia che non va. Ho tentato anche con l’installatore offline scaricato dal microsoft catalog ma niente da fare. Si installa, fa reboot, e poi un nuovo reboot con l’avviso che è impossibile completare l’aggiornamento. Ho anche oltre 10gb di spazio libero su C. Non tanto certo, ma sufficiente per qualunque aggiornamento.
Aspetterò spring update per reinstallare tutto e dare una ripulita.
